Becoming Catholic for Children and Youth(RCIC)
Ages 7-13
If young people are baptized when they are 7 years or older, they receive all the sacraments of initiation together: They are baptized, confirmed, and receive Holy Communion for the first time at the Easter Vigil, maybe together with other, adult candidates. Their preparation for these sacraments is organized separately from the adults, at least largely, in order to be more age-appropriate (Rite of Christian Initiation of Children, RCIC).
A similar pathway is followed for young people who want to join the Catholic Church after having been baptized in another Christian denomination (conversion).
