Food Bank Drive

For many years St. George’s Parish has contributed generously to our local community food bank.

We have a custom made food donation bin located at the entrance of the church.  Donations of non-perishable food items are gratefully accepted.  They can be dropped off any time throughout the year.  Contributions are delivered monthly at the end of each month to the local foodbank.

This ministry is in the process of rebuilding.  We are in need of volunteers.  The commitment is very minimal. We deliver collected non-perishable food to the local foodbank once monthly at a time convenient to the person making the delivery.  If you feel you would like to join us in our ministry to feed those in need in our local community please contact Leslie VandeLaar at vandelaaar@rogers.com.
